From this perspective, Colombia en Hechos understands and strengthens connections between the maintenance of Sacred Sites, ancient medicine recognition and education initiatives that emerge from retaking cultural knowledge

Our research is based on interaction between science and local traditional knowledge. We build tools that enhance community participation in biological research and conservation strategies for fragile ecosystems and endangered species in Colombia.
